Lighting designer, Budding Writer, and Self-Confessed Photoshopaholic… That’s me in a nutshell.
After graduating university in Product Design, Since 2004 I have worked in the lighting industry for several London-based companies, both consultant and manufacture. I’ve had key involvement & responsibilities in delivering effective solutions to both high profile & demanding projects, within sectors including flagship & boutique retail, hospitality, commercial, architectural & external, heritage and residential.
Whenever I’m not lighting spaces, I moonlight as a freelance graphic artist under the moniker “Devious”, delving into three dimensional, digital, abstract, fractal design and photography. From an early age, I’ve always had a love of art and design. Adding an equal passion for music, I always enjoy the chance to undertake a project that melds the two together. With areas including CD artwork and band promotion, web graphics & brand identities, over the years I have worked with a variety of clients both in the UK and overseas.
This diverse media & background creates an ever present enthusiasm which drives me to continually develop and advance my design approach.
I’m also trying my hand at writing a story. Driter is my own serialised sci-fi tale of one man’s bewildering adventure in parallel dimensions, whether he realises that’s what’s happening to him or not.
